Doctor of technical sciences, professor of department, is the "Electric machines" of the Odessa national politechnical university.

      DEGTEV Vladimir Grigorievich was born on January, 30 1941 at the station of Borzinsky region named, situated in Chitynsky region (Russia). He has graduated high school №1 in Yerevan (Armenia).

After graduating from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute in 1966 in a specialization "electrical machinery and apparatus" he worked as a chief engineer in the research laboratory of direct current electrical machines in Frunzensky VSRYUEM (Bishkek).

Since 1968 Vladimir Grigorievich has been working in Odessa national polytechnic university, having approached a path from an assistant to a professor of electrical machines.

He defended Ph.D. thesis in the institute of electrodynamics AN USSR (Kyiv) in 1979, thesis for a Doctor's degree was defended in Kharkiv National Polytechnic University in 2000 year.

He teaches “Electric apparatus”, “Electric machines”, “Technology of electric machines production”, “Electric machines windings analysis and synthesis”, “Basis of electric machines researching”

 

 

Scientific interests field of Vladimir Grigorievich – alternating current electric machines, analysis and synthesis of multiphase and combined windings. 

Work in this field used to be done jointly with All-Union Scientific-Research Design-Technological Institute of electromechanical engineering (Vladimir) and electric machine building plants ZVI (Moscow), NKEMZ  (Novaya Kakhovka), VEMZ (Vladimir), "Volta"  (Tallinn).

Release 159 works, between them there are 103 scientific articles, 17 teaching publications, 7 patents and 31 certificate of recognition, 1 copyright. Under the guidance of V.G. Degtev was protected PhD thesis of S. B. Smirnov.
